Another Round with Hotel Burgundy. I’ve honestly lost count of how many shows we’ve shot together, but one thing’s certain—their sound just keeps getting better. And this night was no exception. They brought the same fun-fueled energy that never fails to put a smile on everyone’s face, but there was something different this show.
They seemed more focused than ever, and I believe it's working. The music they’re creating feels like it’s pushing boundaries—musically, they’re coming into a class of their own. Maybe I’m over-analyzing, but this show felt like a turning point. Whatever it is they’re doing, it’s brilliant, and I’m liking this new groove. Man, do I freaking love working with these guys! If you haven’t seen them live yet, do yourself a favor and figure out how—it’s well worth it.
