Event Photography at Essence Festival

I worked with SiriusXM to photograph their live show, Kirk Franklin's Praise at Essence Festival 2024. I was so amped when I saw that they had emailed me and were interested in working together. This photo shoot focused on capturing the artists during their on-stage interviews, rehearsal performances, and backstage portraits. It was a challenging assignment, made even tougher when my flash broke just minutes after I arrived. Despite the setbacks, I couldn’t be happier with the photos I captured on this eventful morning.

I greatly enjoyed working with all the artists and the team over at SiriusXM. And let me just say the music I heard while at work was so incredible. Y'all really should've been there... well there's always next year!
